Digital

My digital practice extends the themes explored within my paintings through animation, motion graphics and immersive media. Using digital tools to introduce movement, light and time, these works examine how architecture and space can be experienced beyond the static image. Inspired by the rhythms of Japanese cities and changing environmental conditions, the animations create shifting visual experiences that blur the boundaries between physical and digital space. The work reflects an ongoing interest in how contemporary technologies can deepen our understanding of place, perception and memory.
